Ron Rose was named Chief Information Officer of priceline.com in March 1999. Prior to joining priceline.com, he was Chief Technology Officer for Standard & Poor’s Retail Markets and led the development of many of that company’s Internet initiatives, including Xpresso, which is the leading Java financial desktop application. Before joining S&P, Mr. Rose led two successful technology startups that focused on telecommunications and technology consulting. Mr. Rose has been a technology consultant and began his career with Delta Air Lines focusing on transaction systems.

Andrew Dennis is the executive editor of NorthPage, an online resource that helps IT Buyers make better decisions about high technology products, services, companies and topics. Our targeted publications make available the Web's most-valuable information in a clean, approachable format.

Previously, Andrew was Vice President of Corporate Development for Active Endpoints. Building on more than 15 years of successful market development for software companies, Andrew led Active Endpoints' market and revenue operations. Prior to Active Endpoints, Andrew was Senior Vice President – Corporate Development for Tangoe, Inc., a leading Telecom Expense Management software provider. Prior to Tangoe, Andrew assisted startup ventures in raising capital and developing business strategy and served on the boards of early-stage software companies as a principal at ThinkChange Consulting.

Andrew was Vice President, Business Development for Delano Technology Corporation and a board member of Delano's parent company, where he was responsible for partnerships and alliances and played a key role in Delano's successful IPO. In addition, Andrew was a Vice President at Gartner Group where he led the Software Industry Practice for Gartner Consulting. Andrew also helped build two successful software ventures in senior level sales and marketing positions at Hill Arts & Entertainment Systems (now Tickets.com) and DataEase International. Andrew is a graduate of Davenport University with a BBA – Marketing, and studied Mechanical Engineering at Lawrence Technological University.

Al Guibord, Founder and Chairman, The Advisory Council

Al Guibord has over 25 years of experience leading IT organizations as CIO with both Fortune 100 companies and small-to-midsize businesses. He was most recently CEO of Computerworld, and has served as VP and CIO of Fort James Corp., VP Information Technology at RR Donnelley & Sons, CIO of PictureTel, and VP MIS and Administrative Services at Timeplex.

Al is considered a visionary in the field, and a sought after speaker in the United States and around the world. His specific areas of expertise include senior corporate management, organization-building, management/business alignment, building investment strategies, linking IT with business management, large-scale project management, manufacturing efficiencies, and acquisition and merger integration.
